The idea for this project originated in my award-winning senior thesis research on visual attributes of physical anti-vaping communication materials in Massachusetts and the lack of youth-appealing, harm-reducing public-facing communication. Using the knowledge I gained on adolescent psychology, visual design, and user-centered design, I set out to create an application that allowed teenagers and young adults to feel supported in nicotine cessation attempts in any environment.
