For my final project for a class on Data Visualization, we were asked to create a data visualization story on a topic of our choosing that humanizes the narrative behind the data in some way. As a musician myself, I was interested in creating a data visualization related to inclusion in the music industry. The mission of the website is to provide those already in the industry with tools and resources for promoting inclusion among music producers and engineers, as well as create awareness of the issue amonst the general public.

Womxn is an alternative spelling of the word woman/women that was proposed as a way to redefine women as inclusive and intersectional (including gender-nonconforming, female-identifying folx), and not defined in relation to men.
